The "Mathematical Association of South Australia
Incorporated" is a branch of the federation of affiliated associations known as
"The Australian Association of Mathematics Teachers Incorporated"
The aims of the Mathematical
Association of South Australia are to:
promote interest in
mathematics and mathematics education,
encourage approaches to
teaching and learning in mathematics which promote excellence and the
maximisation of potential of all students,
provide means of
intercommunication between mathematical students and teachers for this
purpose,
provide services,
professional development and publications that cater for the needs and
interests of members,
provide a voice in relation
to mathematics teaching and the work of mathematics teachers.
